Had to write this because it was so weird and strangely impactful.
I’m in a large, mansion complex that is an elite market/auction house. It feels a bit like a Monte Carlo casino. I am with Doctor Who (the Matt Smith version) and a couple of other people are in our group. We are trading with these large, ceramic tiles, that are like large mahjong tiles with intricate pictures on the them. The different pictures and shapes indicate different monetary values and each is unique. There is a feeling of fun and adventure and purpose to this. Also, I feel like what we were doing was illegal, but not necessarily wrong.
We walk into a courtyard to cross over to another auction hall when we see a large, black van parked in the center ( looks just like the A-team van). A bearded man gets out who is the Doctor’s boyfriend. He is very upset because he is feeling neglected by the Doctor and it is awkward. He starts yelling very loudly that the doctor owes him a threesome right now because he has been spending all of his time with our group and is being a bad boyfriend. He has put a mattress in the back of the van for this purpose. The Doctor crawls into the back of the van and I go too because I feel like it is my duty for some reason. I feel completely neutral about this.
I get in the van and the boyfriend asks what I think I am doing. I explain that I am willing to take one for the team (lol) and help in the threesome. The boyfriend changes his mind about the threesome and says he just wants some personal time with the Doctor. However, the Doctor is extremely moved that I was willing to do this and there is this intensely emotional moment between us where we both have the realization that we have intense feelings for each other. However, we clearly cannot do anything about it and I leave.
I go back to the auction and attempt to make another trade with some tiles. I start adding my jewelry to my trade to try and get a particularly valuable time. The woman at the desk checks my tiles in the computer. They have been flagged or traced by the government and I get taken into custody. They lead me down this long hallway lined in oil paintings and then drop me off in this large banquet hall. It feels like a medieval hall, with a large fireplace and long wooden tables and benches.
I am about to eat some food when this old woman comes up to me. She has come from Eastern Europe and has been tracking me down. She has the same crazy/desperate vibe as Doctor Who’s boyfriend. She has made this meat pie for me and insists that I eat it because it will ensure that I become pregnant with a very special child. I feel obligated to eat it, but I don’t get to eat it before I wake up.
Reality Check: I have not watched Doctor Who in years, I am not attracted to Matt Smith, I am not interested in having a threesome, and I am not pregnant. Nothing in the dreams really resembles any situations in real life either. What sticks out to me is how intensely emotional it was. Usually, in dreams, I feel neutral even if they are scary or sexual. I plan on doing some journey work with this dream, but I would love some outside perspective.
